The spacious living area includes two large couches, Tufenkian wool carpet, cozy chaise lounge and chair facing the beautiful stone, gas fireplace.  An open plan design provides plenty of room to stretch out and relax for up to 12 guests.  The sound system, with blue tooth capability, includes a quality stereo and our extensive CD collection.  Wireless internet is included, and the cell signal is excellent on most carriers.

 

An all stainless, gourmet kitchen includes a six burner gas oven and cooktop, additional wall oven, microwave and an extensive selection of kitchenware. Seating is ample around the granite island, and adjacent teak dining room table.

 

The breathtaking primary suite on the first floor includes a California king bed and HDTV with cable. A gorgeous attached bath,  with soaking tub, glass inclosed travertine shower,  separate water closet and large walk in closet completes this luxurious room.  Step outside through the suite’s french door where the bubbling hot tub awaits, with 180 degree beach views.

 

Also on this level, you’ll find a queen, ensuite bedroom, laundry room with two laundry sets and a water closet. Access the secluded, outdoor shower from the laundry room. Experience the luxury of rinsing off after a beach walk, under a warm shower, without bringing the sand indoors.

 

The fully stocked game room with Connolly slate pool table, commercial quality foosball, and air hockey, along with a leather coach, bar stools, and beverage fridge will provide hours of entertainment.  

 

The entire main floor is fully accessible with a level entry at the front of the house. There are no stairs anywhere throughout the first floor, and a level passage out to the beach patio and lawn.

 

Stepping through the dining room’s french doors, a large south-facing, covered patio is perfect for year-round gatherings. Celebrate al fresco around the large outdoor teak table, as you take in the spectacular 180 degree views of the shipping lanes, Mt Rainier and the Olympic Mt range, and magnificent sunsets.   A large stainless barbecue is plumbed to the house propane and ready to sizzle.  

 

Follow the hammered cherry wood stairs from the rotunda to the second floor, where you will find three additional, gorgeous, water view bedrooms, plus a media room that can function as a 6th bedroom,  with a comfortable queen sleeper. Enjoy the big game on the 46” HDTV, watch a movie in surround sound,  or play a rousing XBOX Kinect game. A large shared bath completes this space.

 

Quality linens are provided.  All mattresses are top of the line Beautyrest.  One California King, one Standard King, three Queens, one Full, two Twins, and one Queen sleeper with plush memory foam mattress in media room, which transforms into a sixth bedroom with full privacy if needed. A maximum of twelve people are allowed including children- no extra people or day visitors greater than 12.

Sandy beach location, all day sun.  This is a fantastic beach for walking, clamming, crabbing and Frisbee.  When the tide is out, it is out several hundred yards. The beach is almost entirely sandy (not muddy or silty), with a few places of smaller rocks for some interesting tidal pools – you can go barefoot. In the summer the tidal pools are like bathwater. You can see the sunrise and sunset all year long. The ferries from Edmonds/Kingston are visible, as well as all the shipping traffic from Seattle (cargo, cruise ships, Clipper to Victoria, etc). Seals, otters, and eagles are a few of the wildlife seen on a daily basis. Seals sit on the rocks a few hundred yards out.

Our location on South Whidbey Island is perfect for outings to wineries, quaint towns like Langley and Coupeville, excellent grocery stores, and all the natural beauty Whidbey has to offer.  We are just 10 minutes to the Clinton/Mukilteo car and passenger ferry.  The ferry ride takes 15 minutes to Mukilteo (every half hour) and from there it is under two hours to downtown Seattle or the airport.
